Discomfort and Pain

Holding in urine for too long can cause discomfort and even pain as the bladder becomes overly distended. This can lead to a feeling of urgency when you finally do go, and it may cause discomfort or pain during urination.

Infections

Holding urine for an extended period can also increase the risk of kidney infections, which can be more serious and require medical attention.

You need to listen to your body, and when it tells you to go, please go.

While occasional situations may require you to delay using the restroom temporarily, make an effort to pee as soon as possible when it's safe to do so.

If you find yourself frequently needing to hold your urine due to work, travel, or other circumstances, consider making adjustments to your routine to prioritize regular bathroom breaks to protect your urinary and overall health.
